Oregon s leading winery seeks an experienced Tasting Room Manager. King Estate Winery, known as a destination location in Eugene, Oregon, includes an elegant on-site tasting room, multiple guest houses and event venues in one of the state s most beautiful settings. Capable of assuming responsibility for inventory management

Ability to execute progressive management in culinary-driven and service-focused restaurant

Enthusiasm for food and wine and culinary trends

Ability to forecast needs for peak season and event planning

Experience & Education:

Three (3) years or more of experience in wine service in a fast-paced restaurant business

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Food & Beverage cost control and labor forecasting

Successful history in personnel management

Strong wine knowledge. Sommelier certification or WSET preferred but not required

Computer skills including Revel, Tock, Gather, POS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) highly preferred

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to associates across all levels of the organization

Ability to manage multiple projects with a thorough focus on detail

Must exhibit the highest level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information

Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Experience effectively managing staff, schedules, budgets and business practices

Event coordination experience: planning, organizing, scheduling and staffing
