**Local Delivery Driver**

The Local Delivery Driver is responsible for picking and delivering product to customers in the Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding areas for industrial and retail store customers. Will assist in the warehouse when not delivering products.

***Responsibilities:***

* Uses material handling equipment to load local delivery truck with the appropriate product per pick lists and order documentation.

* Verifies the accuracy of outbound shipments to ensure completeness. Processes Bills of Lading (BOL) and packing slips. Ensures all documentation is accurate.

* Conducts inspection of local delivery truck prior to departure.

* Determines delivery route based on customer orders loaded on truck. Unloads products per customer specifications.

* Obtains delivery confirmations to ensure products meet customer needs/order.

* All other duties as assigned.

***Minimum Requirements:***

High School diploma (GED equivalent) with a minimum of one-year experience in an industrial or manufacturing shipping environment as a delivery truck driver. Previous lift truck experience required. Valid Class C drivers license required with clean driving record and ability to be insured through company insurance policy. Must be able to complete DOT Hazmat training. Attention to detail required.
