**Background**

Applications are now being accepted for a **Temporary Full Time Maintenance III** with specific responsibilities for painting. This position will end, on or before **March 31, 2022** . The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of shifts and will be committed to work 75 hours per bi-weekly pay period.

**Education**

High School Graduate

Recognized training as a painter

**Experience**

Painting surfaces, both inside & outside, using brushes and/or paint rollers

Smoothing surfaces using sandpaper, wire brushes or steel wool, and remove old paint from surfaces

Repairing damages to walls within the building through any necessary process (i.e. Mudding and sanding)

Filling nail holes, cracks and joints with putty plaster or other filler

**Skills/Ability**

* Read/Write English

* Able to follow directions

* Able to deal effectively with the public

* Able to work in a team environment

* Able to work with minimal supervision

* Some heavy lifting involved
