QMHP Position Highlights: Salary exempt position, 40 hours per week 100% Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance 401k with employer match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Paid training and continuing education Supportive, collaborative work environment QMHP Position Responsibilities: Client Assessment: Uses a systematic approach to screening, assessing, and treatment planning, including referral, of individuals thought to have mental health and emotional disorders Group Counseling: Demonstrates an interpersonal process and problem-solving strategies that stress conscious thoughts, feelings and behaviors to develop honest self-exploration, discovery of one's inner personal strengths, and constructively deal with barriers that are preventing optimal development Individual Counseling: Establishes a collaborative process between individual and counselor that facilitates the individual's progress toward mutually determined treatment goals and intended outcomes Fiscal Responsibility: Monitor individual accounts, make referrals, maintain current insurance information, and track changes in an individuals' financial status Documentation: Use appropriate and approved methods of recording the screening and intake process, assessments, treatments plans, clinical reports, clinical progress notes, discharge summaries, and other related clinical data Professional and Ethical Responsibilities: All Emergence employees must adhere to established codes of ethics that define the professional context within which they work to maintain professional standards and safeguard the individuals we serve QMHP Requirements: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Science field, or Master's Degree in Art or Music therapy QMHP certification or the willingness and ability to obtain QMHP Preferred Qualifications: Two years' experience counseling individuals with mental and emotional disorders Experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders CADC-I, CADC-II, CADC-III or experience treating individuals with substance use disorder CGAC-I or experience treating individuals with disordered gambling Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and adolescents and/or adults in gender-confirming therapy Experience working with the BIPOC community Experience treating eating disorders Application: Complete applications include a cover letter with 3 references and a resume.
