The dishwashers main objective is to ensure cleanliness of dishes & the dish pit. They will also ensure that tables are clean and reset. The dishwasher will accomplish this by setting up and breaking down the dish pit, keeping it orderly throughout the day, and ensuring a high standard of dish and table cleanliness, this position requires a commitment to excellence and communication. This position reports to the kitchen manager.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain appropriate stock levels off dishware
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables
• Arrive at work ready to work by time of shift start
• Washes all wares including pots, plans, dishware, and glass
• Correctly stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Ensure work areas remain safe and clean according to regulation regarding health,
safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to multitask and bus tables during peak hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Take out trash frequently during shift
Skills and Experience:
• Strong organizational skills
• Time management and communication skills
• Ability to lift 65 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
• Food handler's card required
• OLCC permit encouraged
• Reliable transportation
• ServSafe certification strongly encouraged
