Overview
Provide vital support and help to maintain the integrity of projects for Chestnut Health Systems' Lighthouse Institute (LI), which conducts applied research, program evaluation, training, and consultation to help practitioners improve the quality of their services. Use your research experience and management and administrative skills to support those working on projects in our Eugene office. This full-time and part-time position may require working varying shifts and extra hours to meet key project deadlines for the D2A Oregon Project.
Responsibilities
Oversee assigned support staff on an as needed basis in their duties to support LI projects.
Oversee and perform relevant components of clinical trials, including: data collection, data entry
participant recruitment and informed consent process
monitor and enforce model-fidelity in multi-site studies.
Adhere to processes for internal documentation and tracking information relevant to project activities in a variety of formats including training calls, files setup, etc.
Serve as project liaison for community partners and other external stakeholders, which may involve up to 20-40% of time traveling to participating counties. Travel time will highly vary by project phase: attend and participate in internal project management meetings,
attend and potentially participate in public meetings related to project goals,
document conversations with external partners to communicate to project staff,
advance recruitment of community partners through relationship-building.
Promote Chestnut's culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut's behavioral standards for customer service.
Maintain and protect confidentiality security of all organization information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial, and client information.
Other duties consistent with qualifications and training.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in social science, public health, or related field with three (3) years' experience working with study population.
Intermediate computer skills using Word and Excel required.
Excellent organization and communication skills, time management, and attention to detail required.
Knowledge of database management preferred.
Relevant supervisory experience required.
A demonstrated record of on-time follow-through with small and large tasks is essential.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Strong service ethic and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal staff at the highest level in the organization.
Satisfactory completion of Chestnut's background checking process.
