The Springs at Greer Gardens is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as a Life Enrichment Assistant! Necessary characteristics and skills for this position include: presenting a professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, reliability, excellent verbal communications abilities, high standard of ethics and integrity, and creativity in carrying out community activities.

Schedule: Full Time opening Tuesday-Saturday Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to design, plan, and execute engaging activities and events for our residents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction and community engagement.
  • Utilize your creativity to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring each activity is tailored to meet the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their individual preferences and needs to enhance their overall experience.
  • Lead activities and effectively encourage resident participation, and attendance.
  • Assure that all activities are offered as scheduled, or if cancelled that appropriate alternatives are provided
  • Act as a positive ambassador for The Springs Living, embodying our values of compassion, respect, and integrity.
  • Facilitate socialization amongst residents
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with seniors or seniors with dementia, encouraged but not required
  • Experience pertaining to Event Planning, Event Production, or Performing Arts encouraged but not required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
