Contract: 4 Months

Job Description:

What You'll Do

The Assembler will be responsible for providing assembly support within Tualatin OR location.? Including but not limited to the final assembly, inspection and testing of various product lines, PCB sub-assemblies, soldering (THM) using specialized hand and air tools, specific work instructions.? With the main objective to provide a finished product on time and in adherence to Clients quality standards.

In this Function You Will

* Be able to work independently to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.

* Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.

* Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product

* Be responsible for mechanical/electrical performance of completed assemblies and assist in making necessary adjustments to meet performance/quality goals.

* Evaluates assembly problems, recommends corrective actions

* Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions

* Fosters an environment that promotes Client's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

* HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution

* Must be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship

* Must reside within 50 miles of Tualatin OR to be considered. No relocation Benefits provided.

Preferred Skills

* At?least 1 year manufacturing experience

* Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Outlook/Email.

* Previous electronics manufacturing/assembly experience a plus

* IPC Certified or the ability to acquire IPC certification

* Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs with reasonable accommodation.

* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

* Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.

* Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S and continuous improvement.

* Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions
