Echo Tech - McKenzie Heart Group - PRN

Hourly Base Rate: $35 - $56

Hours per week: Variable hours and days

Job Summary:

• Performs all aspects of cardiac echocardiography diagnostic testing for clinic patients.
• Contacts cardiologists immediately in the event that a life threatening condition is identified during testing.
• Performs stress testing and other types of testing as needed.

Educational/Licensing:

• Currently registered by CCI as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist or ARDMS as RDCS.
• State licensure required through OBMI.
• BLS certification required.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of two years' experience in the field of echocardiography.
• Proficient at all modes of Adult Echocardiography 2D, color flow velocity and Doppler.
• Able to perform trans-esophageal and stress echoes.
• Must be able to identify harmful cardiac rhythms and drastic changes in patient vitals.
