WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager who is aligned with our mission and has empathy for our unique client population. We seek an organized, detail-oriented and positive leader who is comfortable working in an ever changing, fast-paced startup-like environment. Must be able to oversee multiple roles and be adaptable to new ideas and changes.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Program Director the Program Manager manages assigned program and ensures compliance with objectives stated in the individual support plans (ISP), including behavioral and medical plans so that the needs of individuals served are met; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, agency policy and procedures; and ensures that all staff receive the training required and necessary to deliver quality services.

Reports to: Program Director

Essential Requirements:

  • Foster positive working relationships.
  • Coordinate with agency nurse and/or Behavioral Specialist, and other professionals so client needs are being met on a timely basis.
  • Attend meetings (staff/1:1s/management) and coordinate, including scheduling staff and house meetings.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures, and necessary forms are updated and implemented as required by additions or modifications to OARs.
  • Support Quality Assurance Department (QA) in meeting all state licensing requirements and are operated at the highest level of care possible by supporting sites and managers with resolving QA reviews and licensing Plans of Improvement.
  • Provide administrative review of General Event Reports (GERs) within 3 business days, communicating trends, concerns, and other issues of concern to Operation Supervisor, Human Resource Manager and Director of Operations, as needed. Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to work any shift in coverage of subordinate staff.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance at the program site.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two or more years experience in Supervisory role in a residential, educational, or vocational setting serving people with disabilities. Or Bachelors degree in Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field; Or Equivalent combination of education and experience totaling more than four years.
  • Experienced at writing, reviewing and implementing ISPs.
  • Ability to review and critique Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Nursing Care Plans.
  • Knowledgeable of Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), updates and licensing.
  • Must have and demonstrate a positive, solutions oriented mindset, and a positive attitude
  • Must pass Oregon criminal background screening.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs., bend and/or squat
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to perform job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • CPR, Oregon Intervention System, Academy & Annual Training (Paid training available)
