The Eugene Water & Electric Board is currently seeking a Staff or Senior Engineer (CE) to join our high-performing team of engineers in the Water Division. This position will be filled at either the Staff or Senior level, depending upon the successful candidate's qualifications.
Please see below for the minimum qualifications and salary information for the Staff and Senior Engineer positions. It has never been a more exciting time to work for EWEB's Water Division, which consists of an 80 million gallon per day water treatment plant, 800 miles of distribution pipe, 25 pump stations, 23 reservoirs, and numerous pressure zones serving almost 200,000 customers through both retail and wholesale contracts. Some of the largest projects in EWEB's Water Division History are in construction or planned to occur over the next ten years.
The successful candidate will plan, scope, schedule, and conduct complex engineering work as needed to maintain EWEB's water system and implement the Water Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The work may involve leading internal teams, performing engineering work independently, and/or managing engineering consultants to develop engineering plans, reports, cost estimates, schedules, contract documents, and other deliverables. Projects will likely include replacing and upgrading water tanks, pump stations, transmission pipelines, treatment plant, and distribution pipelines.

The starting annual salary for this position will depend on the level filled, and will be commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience as it relates to the position:

Location: This position is based in Eugene, Oregon; however, it has been approved as a hybrid work arrangement involving a combination of telecommuting and working on-site (at least two days per week with additional on-site presence as required to support the workforce). The selected candidate must live in the state of Oregon.
