In partnership with these teams, they plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network and system hardware, endpoints, and software. Additionally, they handle network, system, and database administration to ensure security and efficiency.Collaborate with Technology Services and Information Security teams to ensure timely maintenance, patching, and mitigation.Ensure implementation of security policies on all systems, software, architecture, and services.Maintain continuous, secure, and reliable operation of sites, systems, and services.Participate in developing and implementing new security platforms.Implement approved solutions for endpoint devices, mobile devices, and servers.Qualifications: Qualifications for this role include:A minimum of five years in cybersecurity, focusing on endpoint protection and network security architecture.In-depth knowledge of NIST, ISO 27000 series, and CIS Controls.Practical experience with Cisco AMP, CrowdStrike, or Symantec Endpoint Protection.Advanced skills in network security technologies like firewalls and VPNs.Familiarity with cloud security on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft systems and applications.Experience in system deployment and rollback planning.Knowledge of networking products from Cisco and Juniper.A background in SAN technologies from NetApp and EMC.An understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.An ability to configure systems and applications for customized solutions.Experience with ITIL environments, especially change control and configuration management.Skilled in scripting languages and automation tools.Expertise in performance optimization.Proficient in monitoring systems and applications using tools like syslog, Splunk, NetFlow, and What's Up Gold.GIAC Security Operations Certification required.OCCU offers a robust compensation and benefits package, including:Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off in addition to 12 paid holidaysTuition reimbursement for eligible education and trainingCompany-paid long-term disability.OCCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
