Job Details

The Associate Museum Registrar coordinates and executes a wide variety of museum registration duties in support of museum exhibitions and services. Duties include serving as the lead stakeholder for the management and coordination of exhibition related incoming and outgoing loans, coordinating exhibition installation and de-installation, preparing and processing loan and exhibition related contracts, and planning and monitoring domestic and international loan items. This position is also responsible for coordinating loan objects in transit to and from the JSMA, including shipping, packing, unpacking, transport, and documentation. This involves working with lenders, fine art shippers, shipping agents, and museum and other institutional staff to coordinate international loan and exhibition shipping details.
