We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team! You will collaborate to manage clients and their business, while keeping open lines of communication between Strix and the clients. Also, maintaining an amazing relationship with our clients. As a part of this management, the Account Manager will provide a business point of contact for the client and are client advocates. Account Managers will ensure company policies and procedures are followed and maintained to the best of their ability while making sure the client is happy and being taken care of by Strix.

This position requires a high level of independence, business acumen, strong client service, and skills. Organizational ability is important to keep track of all tasks. Accurate and timely monitoring of client work, client calls, and related documentation is expected. A team player that can work with the internal departments to ensure a high level of client service and retention is met.

The Account Manager meets with client C-level and/or owners regularly to ensure the client is being serviced appropriately from the sales side of the business. The Account Manager will also be working closely with the Strix Service Manager and Technicians in order to confirm client services and communication are seamless.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with client business owners and stakeholders in a meaningful way
  • Maintain a deep and current understanding of each client's business situation, business needs and IT environment, translating those needs into service and product requirements
  • Knowledge of our technology stack that is available to the client.
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading client strategies
  • Track account activity in the Strix documentation and tracking system
  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports client needs
  • Identify trends and develop strategies to support these trends
  • Work with leadership to organize clients and create improvement plans
  • Coordinate procurement and sales requests from the clients
  • Service issues - advocate for the client and communicate internally with the service team to address any issues. Determine how to prevent that issue from occurring in the future through problem management.
  • Support our strong emphasis on cyber security, analysis and client proactive protections.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Client Retention and Satisfaction
  • Manage and nurture our relationship with assigned clients and to that end, support the service and sales operations
  • Perform and/or Assist with the preparation/conducting of Quarterly Business Reviews and other routine client meetings and touches
  • General client engagement and relationship building
  • IT Infrastructure roadmap/budget attainment
  • Service expansion/renewal

Knowledge, Skill and Desired Abilities:

  • High level of organization, effective communication, and overall team player
  • Drive to keep up on current and future technologies on a broad level
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology concepts
  • Enjoy helping people to the extent that no problem is considered mundane, no matter how simple the solution

  • A valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree desired
  • Three to eight years related experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience of how an MSP functions and serves its clients.

Pay & Benefits:

The pay rate for this position will be commensurate with the experience and knowledge of the individual. It will incorporate both a base salary and bonus for meeting certain performance goals. The employee will have the opportunity to excel financially beyond industry average compensation.

Note: You must be located in the general Baton Rouge, Louisiana region, as some activities will require on-site visits to our client's offices.
