Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly,collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Payroll Administrator to join our US team. In this role you may work hybrid or remote within Oregon, with occasional travel required to our Oregon office locations.

As the Fall Creek Payroll Administrator you will be performing a variety of complex administrative and technical work in Payroll and related systems. This role will provide you the opportunity to contribute and improve our procedures and work closely with managers and employees throughout the organization regarding payroll issues.

What you'll do at Fall Creek:

• Manages and processes payroll workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Including processing final paychecks, manual payments, adjustments, gross up calculations, and special pay.
• Maintains, reviews, and validates data for US payroll using 3rd party payroll processing software. Ensures completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manages the process with support from Finance and Legal to add new states and locales to our payroll system.
• Supports HR team members with timekeeping and payments for employees on medical, disability or unpaid leaves. Calculates prorated earnings and deductions.
• Communicates with management and Finance team, as well as employees regarding payroll related issues, resolves payroll concerns by collecting and analyzing information.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve payroll operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service. Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
• Participates in audits by gathering and providing records and documentation to internal and external auditors.
• Provides special project support as needed.
• Assures the highest level of confidentiality on sensitive matters.
  
  

What you bring to Fall Creek:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of full-cycle- payroll processing experience in an Oregon-based company. Paycom proficiency preferred.
• Administrative experience in the areas of policy interpretation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and taxes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to provide detailed reporting using Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Demostrated experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; demonstrated time management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience using NetSuite ERP.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of payroll laws in states outside of Oregon.
