Job Description
Assembly Technician - Urgent Need!
Pay: $19.50+ per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00AM - 3:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an Assembly Tech for a Temp-to-Hire position for our client, a long-standing utility trailer manufacturer that offers American-Built products, including utility, cargo, horse, livestock, and specialty trailers, located in Coburg, OR. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great project and further your career in this industry.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assemble and stage parts using sawhorses, jigs,power tools and drills, overhead crane & forklifts
- Install wiring, tail lights & hydraulics
- Attach chains, reflectors & stickers
- Cut boards for flat trailers using circular & table saws
- Measure & pre-drill holes using pneumatic drills, screw guns & nail guns
- Some Heavy Lifting may be required
- General Clean-up as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout the day and up to 75lbs with a Team-Lift
- Must be able to read & use a tape measure
- A high level of Attention to Detail is a must!
- Must display a 'Sense of Urgency' - this is a fast-paced production facility!
- Carpentry skills or experience with pneumatic tools
