Public Space Attendant/Houseperson | Valley River Inn Bring beautiful spaces to life. Your careful attention to detail brings delight to our guests. You are responsible for cleaning back of house and public areas while maintaining communication with all team members. Save the day by responding to calls for spills, cleaning or trash removal. We have fun, grow together, and strive to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone we meet.What you'll do:The Brass TacksCleaning all public areasWork with others where neededDemonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure their health and safety as well as others around themResponding to calls for spill clean up, trash removal, general cleaning and straightening of public or back of the house areasCleaning Back of the House areas, such as offices, hallways, and restrooms, but not limited toFollows all safety proceduresKeep work environment clean and organizedPays special attention to detailAssures that we exceed guest expectations by being responsive, engaged and following-through on all requests.Maintains on-going communication with all team membersResponds to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintains favorable resident, member, guest and employee relationsProtects company assets by establishing and ensuring adherence to security standardsStrives to deliver exceptional products and serviceDemonstrates behaviors consistent with Columbia Hospitality values and missionCompletes other duties as assignedThe Nitty GrittyMinimum 1 year housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.Desire to work in a fast-paced roleDon't meet every single requirement?
