To establish and cultivate lifelong relationships among alumni, the Assistant Director, Alumni Events (assistant director) serves as a representative for the organizations multi-faceted University Advancement mission. Reporting to the Director, Alumni Engagement (director) the assistant director works in consultation and collaboration with the director to advance the engagement strategy for alumni. This position is directly responsible for coordinating the alumni reunion program, which includes recruiting, training, supporting and recognizing volunteers in addition to providing logistical support for meetings and reunion activities, and collaborating on strategies directly related to reunions. This position is the manager for assigned special and recurring events, including pre-game experiences such as tailgates, alumni commencement events, and other major events.
