Job Title: Powder Coater & Galvanizer Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $17.50/hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Powder Coater & Galvanizer for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable Irrigation Equipment Manufacturing company located in Harrisburg. The Powder Coater & Galvanizer will play an essential role in the preparation and coating of metal products used in irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will be interested in learning to apply powder coating and galvanizing techniques, ensuring the production of high-quality parts for farm and commercial use.

As a Powder Coater & Galvanizer, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing parts for paint application.
  
• Setting up and operating painting equipment: airless, conventional, brush, and roller.
  
• Un-racking galvanized materials, counting, marking, and tagging parts.
  
• Cleaning galvanized products using hand files, grinders, wire brushes, etc.
  
• Identifying voids in galvanized coatings and repairing them with hot sticks, brush-on paint, aerosol paints, liquid zinc, and torches.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in powder coating and galvanizing.
