Description:

The Line Maintenance Representative will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. Responsibilities include communicating with all departments within the company, traveling for station coverage, training, and other maintenance support, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and being on-call as needed. The role also involves assisting Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues, maintaining station manuals, parts, and tooling inventory, and performing aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, and MXI work as needed. Additionally, the representative will travel regionally to verify stations' compliance with FAA and QA audits, train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc., and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Driver's License and successful passing of an MVR background check
  • A&P License
  • At least 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems independently
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and technical aspects, focusing on the aircraft type at the station
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and assess structural damage
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism, and leadership qualities
  • Ability to travel on company aircraft as required
  • Physical ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
  • Willingness to work outdoors in adverse conditions
  • Ability to wear respirator and safety protective equipment as needed
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform work at heights up to 60 ft.
  • Ability to obtain SIDA Badge (federally required background check for airport access)

Qualifications:

Preferred: Aircraft maintenance duties certification
