Benefits Analyst I (Remote) at NFP, an Aon company. This is a full-time role within a newly formed Analyst team that will support Totalis Benefits and their clients. The position offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and receive guidance from experienced professionals. You will assist with key aspects of the marketing and client service process, help prepare presentations and analyses, and support senior team members. You will also begin building relationships with broker partners and carriers as part of developing a career in the employee benefits industry.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including gathering marketing materials for clean quote submissions from broker partners
  • Prepare RFPs and send to carriers using Excel or other rating tools
  • Collaborate and negotiate with carriers on quotes
  • Organize data into a marketing analysis format
  • Provide broker partners with recommendations driven by RFP analysis
  • Ensure client data is entered into the appropriate system in a timely manner and documents are stored properly
  • Interpret and articulate carrier and vendor responses to broker partners
  • Develop effective relationships with broker partners and carrier contacts
  • Deliver sold case notices to appropriate carriers when coverage moves or is sold
Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities
  • Familiarity with ancillary benefit plan designs, contracts, carrier offerings, benefits marketplaces, and current industry trends is a plus
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies and systems
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management and decision-making abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong follow-up skills
Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and internship experience OR high school diploma with at least 4 years of direct group benefits experience
  • 12 years of industry-related experience or employee benefits administration
  • Experience in Excel utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools

Base salary range: $50,000$65,000, determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location.
