Pay: $19 - $23/hr
Experience Needed: 03 - 04 Years

Knowledge :
1. Computers, EHR systems, and office procedures.
2. Medical terminology and coding (ICD-10, CPT).
3. CDC adult immunization schedule.
4. HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment:
  
  • Escort patients to exam rooms
  • Interview patients and record medical history
  • Measure and document vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height)
• Recordkeeping & Documentation:
  
  • Update patient charts with examination, treatment, and test results
  • Maintain smooth communication with providers to ensure efficient scheduling
• Laboratory & Clinical Support:
  
  • Verify provider lab orders
  • Collect blood, tissue, or other lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for outside labs and handle data entry for tracking
• Patient Support & Counseling:
  
  • Communicate provider's orders to patients
  • Answer patient questions within provider-defined guidelines
  • Counsel patients on treatments and procedures
  • Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and prescriptions
  • Inform patients about costs of care and direct them to resources
• Office & Administrative Duties:
  
  • Prepare and clean treatment/exam rooms
  • Maintain safe, secure, and compliant work environment
  • Perform front office tasks (scheduling, answering phones, faxing, patient check-out)
