The Facilities Department is recruiting for a Building Maintenance Worker 2(Roof Maintenance). The Building Maintenance Worker 2 will plan, perform and/or coordinate a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building and facility construction, maintenance, and repair activities, requiring the application of standard trade practices, for a wide varietyof. Citybuildingsandfacilities. Theprimaryfocusforthisrecruitmentwillbeforroof systems, roof cleaning, and roof-related maintenance across a wide variety of City buildings and facilities. The Building Maintenance Worker(BMW) 2 is the first skilled level in the series and provides specialized skilled building and facility maintenance duties in one building trade specialty and assistance in other areas. The BMW 2 is distinguished from the BMW 1 in that the latter focuses upon semi-skilled building maintenance and/or pool operation duties.
