Disaster Tech Response Team - Eugene, OR

Overview: ITDRC is America's premier team of volunteer technology professionals - Connecting Communities in Crisis(tm). Founded in 2008, the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) is a nationwide, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that provides emergency communications and technical resources to communities in crisis. We connect survivors and responders in the days, weeks, and months after a disaster. ITDRC volunteers and our partners contribute tens of thousands of hours and millions of dollars of in-kind services helping communities recover from catastrophic events. On-site and remote support opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary communications, technical support, and community recovery assistance following a disaster.
• Support on-site and remote deployments to assist communities and community organizations.
• Offer technology expertise across disciplines to adapt to evolving response needs.

Qualifications

• Open to all technology skillsets; on-site and remote opportunities available.
• Ability to collaborate with volunteers and partner organizations during crisis response.
