POSITION SUMMARY: This position works closely with Timber Products' sales team to service established accounts and grow customer sales. Assists the sales team with all phases of the sales and marketing process. Professionally represents the products and services that Timber Products Company provides.
This position is not eligible for remote work. Must be able to work full time in the Springfield, OR offices.
MAJOR TASKS:
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: This job typically requires 1-3 years' experience working on a sales team; wood products industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is also preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree. Must be proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software programs. Excellent communication and listening skills are required in order to work effectively with all levels of sales staff, and customers. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and ability to produce results in conjunction with fellow team members required. Must have the ability to initiate, establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
