Insurance Precertification Coordinator (REMOTE in NJ or PA)

This is a remote position, but you must be in the NJ or PA region to attend meetings in our Hamilton, NJ office.

Medlogix is seeking an Insurance Precertification Coordinator to receive requests for medical services from the treating healthcare providers office. The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received; required data is entered into Medlogix software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review. The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for medical services from the treating healthcare providers office and review for complete information.
• Enter required data into Medlogix software for the Pre-Certification Nurse review.
• Respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.

Skills

• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
• Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
• Microsoft Office / Windows Software

Experience

• 1 year of Data Entry experience
• 1 year of Customer Service experience
• 1 year of Medical administration experience

Preferred, Not Required Experience

• Medical Claim Processing
• Medical Billing
• 10 Key Calculator
• Spanish speaking a plus

Education

• High school or equivalent
