Job Description

The Senior Budget Analyst performs resource management duties supporting NGA programs, offices, directorates, and staff. The role includes support for planning, programming, budgeting, and execution, as well as resource management within the FM Office and Divisions. The contractor will provide comprehensive support services as outlined herein.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial management operations and budget analysis.
  • Monitor and coordinate program resource allocations.
  • Support government meetings and activities related to planning, programming, budgeting, and execution.
  • Oversee resource management processes.
  • Support NGA program build activities, analysis, events, and documentation, including data review and analysis.
  • Develop and publish budget exhibits and documentation, including Congressional testimony and briefing materials.
  • Prepare responses to inquiries and develop NGA briefing materials for senior leadership.
  • Support NGA program reviews and exercise proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist Program Managers with fiscal spend plans and prepare technical and financial briefings.
  • Conduct financial data analysis using tools like Python, R, Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 12 years of relevant experience in IC or DOD budget/finance/resource management.
  • Experience with DoD or government agency budgetary processes and defending programs and budgets.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of NGA's mission, programs, budgets, and resources.
  • Understanding of U.S. Intelligence and DoD funding programs and policies.
  • Experience in budget analysis and presenting briefings to management.
