Entry Level Production

Join Weyerhaeuser Cottage Grove Lumber! We are growing our team and have immediate openings for Entry Level Production positions. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing environment. The entry level starting wage is $25.775 per hour. We offer:

Union Membership

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to work in the U.S.

Must hold a high school diploma or GED

Must attach a current resume to the application

Must be available to work all shifts, no exceptions, including nights and weekends

Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check

Must be able to pass random drug testing, including marijuana

Successful candidates need to be able to:

Have 100% commitment to safety rules and policies

Take pride in their work, be motivated, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Have good communication

Be willing to wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment)

Have good attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Work in a team setting and accept accountability for a team's results

Have one or more years of manufacturing or industrial clean up experience preferred but not required

Lift 2-50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and in dusty and noisy conditions
