About Lane ESD's Hope Factory Program
The factory will produce high-quality, affordable, energy-efficient, and fire-resilient manufactured homes intended to support recovery in Oregon, where home losses due to wildfires. The HOPE Factory will provide a learning space for students to train and the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to learn valuable technical and professional skills. Students will work alongside craft professionals in a handful of trades, including welding, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and manufacturing.

Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff is required
  • The ability to follow teacher direction, including written instructional and behavior plans is required
  • Experience working in a public school or community setting with students with moderate disabilities, including use of alternative means of communication is preferred
  • First/Aid/CPR card is preferred
  • One to 2 years successful experience in manufacturing or construction trades environment or CTE program preferred
Salary
  • $19.49/hour
