Job Title: Processing Operator (1st Shift)
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
Looking for a steady, full-time role in food manufacturing? Join a well-established, reputable producer of granola, cereal, and flakes as a Processing Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and be part of a team that keeps production moving efficiently and safely.
As a Processing Operator, you'll play a key role in preparing ingredients, operating equipment, and maintaining food production lines. You'll help ensure high-quality products are made to exact specifications in a clean and organized facility.
What You'll Do
As a Processing Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Moving and lifting 50 lb bags of ingredients into mixing bins
- Accurately reading and following mixing and production instructions
- Mixing ingredients to prepare batches for processing
- Bagging cereal as it comes off production lines
- Performing line sanitation and cleanup after production runs
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and labeling
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to perform repetitive, physical work in a production environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and food safety
