As a Fulfillment Associate in our manufacturing warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders. You will be responsible for picking products for production. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and precise manner. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Order Processing:
o Accurately pick products from inventory.
o Ensure that the correct items and quantities are selected based off the pick order sheet.
• Inventory Management:
o Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
o Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
o Report any discrepancies or stock issues to the supervisor.
• Quality Control:
o Inspect products for any defects or damage before fulfilling orders.
o Ensure that products meet company quality standards.
• Warehouse Operations:
o Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
o Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
o Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaboration:
o Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
o Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or delays in order processing.
• Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of orders processed.
o Update inventory systems to reflect changes in stock levels.
• Shipping:
o Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.
o Participate in training sessions to stay updated with best practices and new equipment.
• Additional Duties:
o Assist with receiving and unloading shipments.
o Help with organizing and stocking shelves.
o Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
• Education:
o High School diploma or equivalent, required.
• Experience:
o Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use computer systems for inventory management and order processing is required.
o The ability to work with spreadsheets in Excel is required.
o At least 1-3 years of experience with some prior experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment environment and familiarity with basic warehouse operations and equipment.
• Technical Skills:
o Inventory Management: Understanding of inventory tracking systems and procedures.
o Equipment Operation: Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Will provide forklift training and certification.
o Quality Control: Ability to inspect products and ensure they meet quality standards.

o Diligence: High level of accuracy in picking and processing orders to ensure correct items are selected.
