The City of Springfield is seeking to fill an Environmental Analyst or Senior Environmental Analyst position in the Environmental Services Division (ESD) of the Development and Public Works Department. This position is housed in the Regulatory Services program in the Planning & Policy Support section, and works on a wide variety of projects in support of the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (MWMC) and associated regional wastewater programs. It is expected that the person filling this position will have the ability to analyze and interpret complex policies and financial and technical data. Advanced communications skills are required. This position requires broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to legal, legislative, and regulatory issues, contracting and procurement, grant writing and administration, utility management, planning, and policies, the federal Clean Water Act, intergovernmental coordination, and inter-agency and partnership collaboration.
Pay dependent on qualifications and in accordance with Oregon's Pay Equity Act. Grades: C42- C43 Environmental Analyst (C42): $69,955- $104,932 Senior Environmental Analyst (C43): $75,013- $112,520.
