Assistant Director - Homeless Youth Services

Looking Glass Community Services is hiring an Assistant Director for our Homeless Youth Services (HYS) Programs. The role supports the Services Director in managing shelter programs and ensuring compliance with operational policies.

Schedule: Mon?Fri 8am?5pm.

Responsibilities

• Support the Services Director in program development, operation, and compliance.
• Assist in case management, crisis response, and emergency night shelter access.
• Ensure adherence to COA and licensing standards.
• Maintain program documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related field (preferred). Equivalent experience may substitute.
• At least two years of shelter work experience, with one year at a supervisory level.
• Knowledge of homeless services, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $73,000 per year.
• Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan.
• Paid time off: 18 hours per month (5.2 weeks/year) with increase over tenure.
• In?depth onboarding training.
• Eligibility for Oregon behavioral health loan repayment and federal Public Student Loan Forgiveness programs.

About HYS Programs

The HYS programs provide supports to homeless or runaway youth in Lane County through 24?hour crisis hotline, individualized case management, emergency night shelter, and a drop?in day shelter. Services are delivered by four programs: PEER Shelter, Station 7, New Roads, and Rural Program.
