Job Title: Manual Machinist
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00+ per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Looking for a hands-on role in a long-standing, reputable company? Join a trusted hydraulic repair facility with over 40 years in business as a Manual Machinist in Springfield, Oregon, and make an impact every day.
As a Manual Machinist, you'll play a key role in the operation and maintenance of metal lathes and related machinery, ensuring that hydraulic components are repaired efficiently and safely. You'll work closely with a small, skilled team to produce precision parts and keep equipment running smoothly.
What You'll Do
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining manual metal lathes and other shop machinery
- Running grinders and performing light welding as needed
- Measuring, cutting, and machining components to precise specifications
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
- Assisting in the repair and fabrication of hydraulic and pneumatic components
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Proven experience operating manual machining equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Comfort using pneumatic tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to lift and maneuver 40-50 lbs consistently
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and convert fractions to decimals
- No certifications required
