Experienced Millwright with Electrical Skills Preferred

Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Millwright! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal functioning of our manufacturing equipment and facilities through general maintenance, preventative measures, and repair tasks. Your expertise in electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and mechanical systems will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings and facilities, including doors, windows, supports, and more.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various machine control components, power transmission components, and hydraulic systems.
  • Set up and install manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment, following diagrams and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Identify root causes of issues to allow for permanent repairs, minimizing downtime.
  • Utilize hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and welding equipment to perform tasks.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and production teams regarding equipment repair status.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate inventory records of parts and supplies.
  • Familiarize yourself with state licensing requirements related to Millwright and Electrical work.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong adherence to safety procedures including lockout/tag-out and personal protective equipment protocols.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools required for maintenance tasks.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
  • A minimum of four years of Millwright experience; electrical knowledge or licensing is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial maintenance or millwright environments with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Electrical Skills (Preferred):

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical installations effectively.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including motors, controls, PLCs, and hydraulics.

Work Schedule:

  • Weekday Night Shift (4x10) with a $1.00/hour shift differential.
  • Weekend Graveyard Shift (3x12) with a $2.50/hour shift differential.
  • Overtime opportunities available based on business needs.
