The Dental Mobile Unit is designed to address the oral health needs of patients in rural Lane County. The Dental Mobile Unit Driver transports the unit and assists in its operation. Our Treatment Coordinators manage patients full cycle from clinical diagnosis to treatment acceptance. You will successfully communicate financial planning and available options based on the proposed treatment. We are hiring immediately for full and part time positions in our dental offices and are seeking teammates who care, listen, and are motivated to help our patients and communities. Responsibilities include: Safely transports the mobile dental clinic to and from a storage site to schools, community centers, and similar sites; Assists program staff which include dentists and dental hygienists, in setting up the mobile clinic and dental equipment in preparation for program events. Completes pre-operation and post-operation checks of the mobile clinic. Assists program staff in replenishing supplies, sanitizing equipment and rooms on first day of clinic week and at end of clinic week. Assists program staff in event clean-up and dental equipment and clinic storage at the conclusion of each event. Ensuring that the unit is clean and in proper working condition at all times; Determining and following safe and efficient routes; Maintaining transportation and maintenance records for vehicle and unit, Ensuring mobile unit evacuation drills are held at least monthly Qualifications Two years of experience in the driving or delivery field operating a heavy vehicle Must possess a valid State Driver's License and a good driving record. A minimum of 1 to 2 years front office experience in a medical environment. Computer literate a must (QSI/Denticon experience is a plus). Bilingual a plus Previous experience presenting Treatment Plans and going over costs of services preferred.
