Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator
Pay: $18.50/hour
Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, M-F
Start Date: ASAP
Looking for a hands-on role in a growing company? Join a dynamic steel manufacturing organization as an Overhead Crane Operator in Eugene, OR, and make an impact every day.
As an Overhead Crane Operator, you'll play a key role in processing heavy steel parts. You'll work closely with your team to ensure a smooth workflow and contribute to the success of our operations.
What You'll Do:
As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads, including machinery, equipment, and steel materials.
- Utilizing crane controls, pedals, levers, and buttons to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
- Climbing up and down burn tables to position materials effectively.
- Grinding and deburring steel parts using a handheld grinder.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- The ability to perform heavy lifting regularly.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Established experience in machine operation and shop environments.
