Job Title: Forklift Driver
Pay: $19.00/hour
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm (will transition to 6:00am-2:30pm) or 2:00pm -10:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Are you looking for a steady schedule and a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Join our well-established production facility as a Forklift Driver in Brownsville, OR, and help ensure our daily operations run smoothly. As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting warehouse and production flow, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with both production and warehouse teams to maintain operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
- Handling and stacking bags of BBQ pellets, ensuring safe transport and storage.
- Supporting general production and warehouse operations to meet daily targets.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area to promote a positive workplace environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A minimum of 6 months of production experience.
- Previous forklift operation experience (1 year required) to ensure safety and reliability.
- The ability to regularly lift and maneuver 40 lb bags, contributing to seamless operations.
- A strong attention to safety and situational awareness in a busy work environment.
- The capability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration.
