The Bread Stop Bakery is looking for Packaging Assistants to join our team. Work is fast paced and hands-on. Attention to detail, engagement with team members and ability to multi-task is a must.

TASKS:

• Packaging fresh bakery products
  
• Labeling and Sorting items for next day deliveries
  
• General cleaning and organization of the work area
  
• Prepping supplies used for packaging
  
• Active engagement with coworkers and assisting in troubleshooting & problem solving
  

Prior bakery or packaging experience is not required. Kitchen/Restaurant, Barista experience and skills transfer well. Applicants need to be able to pay attention to details, multi-task, have good math skills, and strong communication skills. The work is a team effort.

SCHEDULE:

• Approximately 30hr/week. Less hours per week is negotiable
  
• 2 pm start time. End of shift varies by the day.
  
• Bread production levels vary from day to day: Mon, Thurs & Sun are the larger volume days. Able to work those days are preferred.
  

The Bread Stop Bakery is a local, family-owned wholesale bakery in Eugene. We produce hand crafted bread in small batches using traditional bread making methods. Bread Stop breads are made from natural ingredients and are free of additives or preservatives. We are proud to serve our community for 38 years. Our products are found in local groceries stores, restaurants, food trucks and University dining halls.

• Has a current Food Handler s Card or will obtain one upon hire
