Your Contributions to the Team:
This entry-level position is the starting point for career progression within the Production team at GloryBee! We are seeking a "new-bee" to join our Production team and assist with our food processing and packaging of our quality, food ingredients such as: honey, oils, and liquid sweeteners. As a Production Specialist, you'll work at our Production Facility located at 1680 Irving Road Eugene OR. A typical work week of the Production team is Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or Tuesday - Friday 06:00 am - 04:30 pm or Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM - SOME OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED.
Typical tasks include:
Processes, repackages and manufactures products according to written procedures
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) requirements and safety procedures.
Operates production equipment as needed safely and efficiently (fillers, scales, pumps)
Follows GloryBee Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) requirements
Accurately completes required paperwork for work orders and certifications (Safe Quality Food (SQF), Quality Assurance International (QAI), Kosher, etc.)
Follows sustainable practices outlined by department leadership.
Recycles and composts correctly in the appropriate containers
Communicates innovative ideas that increase efficiency, saves resources or lessens environmental impact
What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Prior experience in a food production setting is helpful but not required, we provide training!
Ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools
Basic math and writing skills
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and a team player
Dependability and punctuality
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
