A client of Insight Global that is leader in the activated carbon industry headquartered in Moon Township, PA is expanding their team and looking to hire on a Field Service Technician in the Chicago, IL area. As a Field Service Representative, you will support our customers through the on-site delivery of field services related to the company's activated carbon products, equipment, and service offerings. This role plays a critical part in fulfilling our service agreements and providing excellent customer support in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
• Schedule and document daily on-site activities using internal systems (FSWO database and work process)
• Perform start-up, maintenance, and removal of carbon adsorption equipment
• Conduct media removal and installation (carbon and other media)
• Train customers on the operation of equipment using the O&M manual and company procedures
• Troubleshoot and perform inspections and repairs on equipment
• Adhere to all safety requirements and site-specific protocols

Skills and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED is required
• 2+ years of experience as a field service technician within an industrial environment
o Open to someone who is mechanically inclined that is looking to get into a role like this and comfortable with travel.
• Valid driver's license required (Class A CDL preferred)
• Confined Space Certification preferred (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
• HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification preferred (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) preferred (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
