As a Steel Recycling Metal Sorter & Yard Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily operations by sorting and cleaning scrap metals, assisting with groundwork and yard cleanup, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Your efforts help ensure smooth processing of ferrous and nonferrous metals, contributing directly to our environment and community.

What You'll Do:

• Collect and sort ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals in the yard, ensuring proper separation
• Perform general clean-up and groundwork to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Operate yard equipment and tools as needed, following safety procedures
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
• Assist team members in maintaining yard cleanliness and safety standards

What You'll Bring:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical stamina to work in an outdoor environment and perform manual labor
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Prior experience in yard work or metal recycling is a plus but not required
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoors
