Their technology supports a variety of industries, including automotive, foundry, forging, heat-treating, medical, and heavy equipment manufacturing.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a military background to join the team and support equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs across customer sites around Midwest and Eastern United States. This position requires mostly conus travel with some oconus travel later in your career. Most projects will require five days at a time, with you getting to be home on weekends. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and experience working hands-on with equipment installation. On smaller projects, you will manage the entire installation process independently, while on larger projects, you will take the lead in instructing and guiding contractors through the proper procedures.

Success in this role will come from your ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, and communicate effectively with on-site personnel. This opportunity is well-suited for a veteran who has a background in electronics. You also must have good communication skills, and be open to providing top notch customer service.

Location- Anywhere within an hour of a major airport!!! Preference on the East Coast or Mid West

Pay: $30-35/hour

401K w/ 3% match of your pre-tax pay regardless of what they contribute on their own.

PTO: 2 weeks

Holidays: 10 days off

Any miles drive can be done with personal vehicle and paid mileage or can rent a car to travel when not flying.

Overtime is paid for anything over 8 hours a day. (Time and A Half)

Saturday is always time and a half

Sunday is double time

Holiday is base pay and also time and a half (doesnt happen often)
