We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our production team during early morning hours.
Position Summary

The Baker will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods including pretzels, breads, rolls, desserts, and simple breakfast items. This individual should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment and consistently uphold our quality standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in craft baking and enjoys early shifts.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a range of baked goods including:
  • Soft pretzels and pretzel knots
  • Artisan and sandwich breads
  • Dinner and sandwich rolls
  • Cakes, bars, cookies, and other desserts
  • Breakfast items such as muffins, coffee cakes, and scones
  • Follow and maintain accuracy with recipes and portion sizes
  • Scale, mix, proof, and shape doughs with consistency and efficiency
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality
  • Ensure products are fresh, attractively presented, and delivered on schedule
  • Operate and maintain commercial baking equipment, mixers, and ovens
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and baking areas
  • Participate in inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and rotating ingredients
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to coordinate production needs for catered events and wholesale orders
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional baking experience, preferably in a catering, wholesale, or high-volume setting
  • Strong knowledge of bread, dough fermentation, and baking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with a wide range of baked goods from scratch
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during early-morning hours
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
