Scheduling Coordinator - Short Stay Unit

Position Details:

• Hourly Base Rate: $20.02 - $25.49
• Shift: Days
• Shift Hours Per Week: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Job Summary:

• Responsible for scheduling procedures, circulating daily and month end statistics for the Short Stay Unit and Endoscopy, clerical and secretarial unit management of the Short Stay Unit.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Unit secretary training and/or applicable experience.
• Hospital background preferred.
• Knowledge of medications, medical terminology and spelling.
• Keyboard skills and familiarity with computers.
• Ability to interact with the public, staff, physicians and volunteers courteously and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to frequent interruptions, while maintaining efficiency.
