You'll conduct laboratory testing, assist with plant trials, and carry out technical evaluations that drive data‑based decisions.Your work ensures that products meet the highest standards of safety and quality-strengthening trust with customers and supporting the company's commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities* Assist with benchtop development, scale‑up, and production of new or improved products, packaging, and test materials.* Operate laboratory equipment accurately and consistently, following approved methods and safety protocols.* Understand and comply with all food safety, GMP, and food manufacturing requirements.* Conduct experimental designs under supervision; compile, analyze, and summarize data into clear reports, graphs, and recommendations.* Gather and handle samples from plant environments in a safe and sanitary manner.* Support and/or conduct plant tests, packaging projects, and production trials, including preparing samples, test formulas, and participating in plant‑based experiments.* Collect technical information such as product attributes, processing measurements, packaging data, and quality metrics.* Perform routine and non‑routine chemical, physical, and sensory testing.* Serve as a technical resource for teams such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.* Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, observations, and results.* Complete other duties as assigned to support team and company goals.What We're Looking ForYou might be a great fit if you:* Bring a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.* Enjoy hands‑on work in both laboratory and production settings.* Are eager to learn, ask questions, and expand your technical skills.* Thrive in collaborative environments and communicate effectively with cross‑functional partners.* Prioritize safety, quality, and integrity in every task.* Are naturally curious, analytical, and motivated to contribute to continuous improvement.Location & Travel* Primary Location: Eugene, OR* Travel: Limited
