Director of Marketing

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family - our community.

Job Summary:

  • Supports the strategic objectives of the hospital and affiliated practices
  • Develops and implements marketing plans
  • Provides content and strategic direction, manages budgets, and gives final approval for all advertising projects
  • Utilizes various technologies and planforms in the management of social media, collateral and online reputations responses
  • Assists in the development of new programs and services
  • Represents the hospital to the community
  • Actively communicates and establishes relationships with community partners
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing media relations
  • Experience managing projects, people and budgets
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple, high-priority tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Public Relations
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or administrative area required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Familiarity with Adobe design products preferred
