Join the culinary team at Maumee Bay Lodge as a Line Cook in Oregon, OH. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences toour guests by ensuring every dish meets our standards.

This position offers the ability to be out the door most days by 9:30pm during the season and 8:30pm in the off season! The ideal candidate would be available rotating shifts to work breakfast/lunch some days and dinner shift on other days depending on business levels, but willing to work with the right candidate.

Availability must include weekends and all holidays.

Rate of pay is $15.00/hour. Increases based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquet events according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining appropriate portion control
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service
• Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests

Requirements

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
