US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance on flood control machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure operational readiness.; Perform maintenance, repairs, lubrication, and adjustments on flood control equipment.; Install and repair plumbing components including toilets, sinks, hydrants, valves, pipes, water heaters, irrigation controllers, and sprinkler systems.; Conduct electrical repairs by removing, replacing, splicing, soldering, and insulating wiring and controls.; Wield and fabricate repairs using electric and gas welding equipment; operate heavy engineering/construction equipment as required.
