Job OverviewHelicopter pilot position based out of Eugene, Oregon providing VFR helicopter services to Weyerhaeuser Timberlands in Oregon and Washington. Some operations require travel away from Eugene, with travel expenses provided. Most operations are conducted locally. The schedule is balanced to meet customer demand and personal needs. Flight hours are managed per year with safety and work‑life balance in mind to allow for vacation and needed personal time off.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrimary utility job functions include forestry fertilization and application of herbicides. Occasional utility longline, ferry, and reconnaissance flights are also conducted.Type of AircraftBELL 212 and 206‑L series.LocationUSA‑OR‑Eugene.ScheduleFull‑time, day shift (1st).Job Level and TypeIndividual Contributor. Experienced.Required QualificationsCommercial pilot's licenseRotorcraft‑helicopter ratingSecond class medical certificateMinimum of 2,000 hours of flight time PIC RotorcraftFlight experience in BELL helicopters operated by Weyerhaeuser (BELL 212 and BELL 206L‑4)Ability to operate under all FAR Part 133/137 requirements with a strong team orientation in both flying and non‑flying dutiesApplicant must provide copies of medical and airman certificatesFlight experience conducting spraying as well as granular fertilizer application with under‑slung spreaders500 hours helicopter Agricultural Application experienceDesired Requirements3,000 hours of flight time PIC RotorcraftAgricultural Mountain Application experienceExperience with AgNav guidance systems for aerial application workComputer skills; customer relations will further strengthen the candidate's positionCompensation and BenefitsEligible for an annual merit‑increase program with a target salary range of $108,000 – $162,000 based on level of skills, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for the Annual Incentive Program with a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay; potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.Comprehensive employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, life insurance, pre‑tax Health Savings Account with company contribution, voluntary Long‑Term Care, Employee Assistance Programs, and support for volunteerism. Retirement benefits include a 401(k) plan with a company match and annual contribution equal to 5% of base salary.Paid time off: Eligible employees scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week receive 3 weeks of paid vacation in the first year.
